Adult Art - Fused Glass

Studio Owner, Patrice Mastrianni, shows you how to create a beautiful work of art from pieces of colored glass which are fused together in a kiln. Wine and beer are available for purchase at this event. Class is open to both beginners and experienced artists. Fee includes materials and firing fees to make your choice of one item about 4" in size, a few pendants or a small wind chime. Larger projects and slumped dishes can be done for an additional fee*. This class is for teens and adults. Registration is required. Need inspiration? Search for "glass fusion projects" online and bring in your ideas!

Slumping a dish (2nd Firing): $5 
Larger Pieces (6”): $5
Attach jewelry findings after firing: 
    Earring bails with French wires: $4/pair
    Pendant bail: $2/each
Additional projects in one sitting: $5-10
Wind Chime with more than 3 dangling chimes: $2/chime
Assembling a wind chime with bead wire and crimps: $5 up to 3 dangling pieces. $1 each additional     piece. 


Patrice Mastrianni acquired a Studio Art degree from the College of Saint Rose and has been teaching art classes to children and adults for over 35 years. Patrice previously owned Creative Sparks pottery studio and has taught in local after school programs, art festivals and summer camps. She has worked in marketing and graphic design for Price Chopper Supermarkets, the Saratoga Senior Center and the Saratoga Olive Oil Company.
