2020 Cabin Fever Luncheon
The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote. The amendment states that the right of citizens to vote "shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex."
Join Cabin Fever at Saratoga National on January 25, 2020 for a celebration and dynamic discussion of the largest expansion of democracy in the history of our country.
This year's event will feature the meaningful turning points and key women shaping the suffrage movement - and what it means for key issues facing women, today. Taking the form of a fireside chat, the discussion features four distinguished speakers in a forum moderated by the president of SISC, Tammy Arquette.
Fireside chat speakers include Coline Jenkins - Found & President, Elizabeth Cady Stanton Trust (and great great granddaughter of Elizabeth Cady Stanton); Patricia Nugent, Author and Playright; Wendy Johnston, Professor of Poligica Science - Suny Adirondack; Ella Ouimet, Saratoga Springs High School Leader.
