The 2019 Elks Ride for Freedom Machines will be held on Sunday, July 28, at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge #161.
First 100 Metric Century riders registered receive a CrankCase. First 150 overall registered riders receive a t-shirt.
The 64 mile route will go north on Rte. 9N from the Elks Lodge #161 through Greenfield Center into the Adirondack Park at Corinth, along the Hudson River to Luzerne and onto Lake George at the junction of route 9. We will turn south through the Million Dollar Mile, past The Great Escape and into Glens Falls, across the Hudson River into Saratoga County in South Glens Falls. We will proceed south to West River Road again along the Hudson River and ride the Time Trial Route for the Adirondack Spokes on a newly paved road surface....Fast. Watch for Peter's Road for a right turn through Gansvoort and on to the route's junction with Rte. 9. Turn south and ride back to the Elks Lodge on wide shoulders.
The 32 mile route will follow the same start to Corinth. Here we will turn right to a "T" then bear right and over Wilton Mtn. for a challenging hill climb and down to again join the 64 mile rte. at route 9 turning south and home at the Elks Lodge.
There are 8 Stewart's Shops on the 64 mile Ride and 3 on the 32. The event will reimburse the rider for up to $5.00 with a receipt.
Each event will have motorcycle escorts.
