Come out for a fun morning of walking or running, demonstrations of various rabbits topics, mini yoga sessions, kids crafts and adoptable bunnies.
Our annual 5k supports the care of the 180 rabbits we currently have in our organization. With that many rabbits our vet expenses are enormous. We are projecting to finish the year with $40,000 in vet expenses for the year. We offer each bunny top quality care, including treatment for parasites, infections, wounds, tumors, fractures, malocclusion and spaying and neutering. That is a lot of treatments and we need the communities support to continue our mission of sheltering and caring for the rabbits of NYS. Rabbits are the third most abandoned pet right behind cats and dogs but it really hasn't been addressed with a solution until now.
Our volunteers are passionate and dedicated to caring for the rabbits and raising funds for their care. We are 100% volunteer run. Please join them in supporting the rabbits veterinary needs by walking and coming out to see the rabbits they care so much for.
