The Knickerbocker Mansion is the most significant historic building in upper Rensselaer County, located in the Hoosic River Valley near Tomhannock Creek.  Built by Johannes and Elizabeth Knickerbocker in the 1780s, the Mansion’s architecture is of a rare Middle Age style.  Come to the spot where the Knickerbocker’s lived since the early 1700s and where the Witanagemot Oak Peace Tree was planted in 1676 signaling peace between the Indians, the European settlers and New York Province’s Governor Andros.

The Knickerbocker Historical Society is a 501 C3 charitable organization and ALL fundraising money goes directly into the preservation & restoration of the Knickerbocker Mansion.

Thank you for considering Knick-At-Night for your October Souper-Supper!
