Narcan Training & Overdose Awareness Vigil
RAIS is hosting a Candlelight Vigil for our community to support and acknowledge the grief felt by families and friends who have lost loved ones to overdose. It is a goal of our recovery community organization to raise awareness of overdoses and reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths.
The Candlelight Vigil will be preceded by a Narcan training 5:30 at the Presbyterian-New England Congregational Church, 24 Circular Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Training is free, but we are asking that you register at 518-306-3048 or [email protected] The Vigil is free at 7:30pm at Congress Park. This is the 4th vigil we have hosted and it is a powerful gathering to support friends and families who have lost a loved one. This event is hosted by RAIS, Healing Springs Recovery Community Center and The Prevention Council. You can attend either event or both the Narcan training and Vigil.
