About this event

Saratoga Springs locals often comment that restaurants open so frequently here, they can’t keep track. But don’t confuse New American Cuisine with a new dining option – this is a band even sweeter than a new flavor at Darling Donuts – and musically hits the spot like a plate of Hattie’s fried chicken. You might guess that with all the downtown references, this indie rock group is from Saratoga Springs – and you’d be right. Ben Crandall (guitar/vocals), Bryce North (guitar/vocals), Jordon Gyarmathy (bass) and Henry McCabe (drums) were high school classmates at SSHS not so long ago.

The band formed in 2017 when, after playing at their high school pep rally, decided to start writing, recording, and performing as New American Cuisine. Their lush, hook-filled melody-driven sound with catchy vocal harmonies and decisive percussion and bass is reminiscent of Pinegrove and Noah Kahan. NAC’s first single, “Lily of the Aztecs,” and 2022’s “Talking” got traction after spins on EQXposure. The band has continued to explore their sound with sophomore album Forward. Come out and enjoy the Cuisine – one of Saratoga’s tastiest new musical offerings!
