NYCB On and Off Stage: Short Stories

New York City Ballet will return to its summer home in Saratoga Springs this July for NYCB On and Off Stage, an intimate, up-close look at selected excerpts from the company's extraordinary repertory of ballets. Never before presented for Saratoga audiences, the series will feature an ensemble of 15 NYCB dancers performing excerpts alongside live piano accompaniment and insights from Principal Dancers.

From classic fairy tales like Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty, story ballets have been captivating audiences for hundreds of years. Join New York City Ballet Principal Dancer and Host Maria Kowroski as we turn the page through some of the most beloved ballets in NYCB's history and explore how stories and characters are depicted through the extraordinary world of dance. You’ll enjoy excerpts from across the Company’s repertory and hear insights directly from the artists in this engaging educational presentation for all ages.
