Saratoga County 4-H Walkathon

The 50th Annual Saratoga County 4-H Walkathon will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024. This is Saratoga County 4-H’s annual fundraiser to support the 4-H Training Center.

There will be over two hundred youth and adults from Saratoga County involved in the event as both walkers and volunteers.

All funds raised by the walkathon go to the 4-H Training Center located on Middle Line Road in Ballston Spa. The 4-H Training Center, located on forty-five acres, is a unique site where youth and adults participate in club meetings, workshops, seminars, training sessions, horse shows, dog obedience classes, and school outreach programs. It is the only facility of its kind in New York State. With the exception of two small grants, all monies to support the Training Center come from fundraisers and donations from community groups and individuals. Community support is an especially important factor in the continued viability of the facility.
