Turning Point Parade & Festival
The Turning Point Festival begins at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Fort Hardy Park. There will be music, human foosball played by members of local fire departments including Schuyler Hose and a very popular water balloon tossing contest. There is a fantastic fireworks display to conclude the festival.
The Turning Point Parade begins at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019. It is the 25th Anniversary of the parade. The parade starts on Route 29 at the entrance to Schuylerville Central Schools and marches down Broad Street to the Schuyler House. The parade goes on for an hour and 20 minutes and includes 14 musical units. They are: The Galloway Gaelic Pipes and Drums, The Fiesta Band, Moodus Drum and Fife, Uncle Sam Chorus, Adamsville Ancients Fife and Drum, Fyfes and Drumms of Olde Saratoga, Brass-O-Mania, The Cambridge Band, Downbeat Percussion, The Yankee Doodle Band, St. Andrews Pipe Band of Vermonst, The Open Bar Band, The Upstate Independent Drum and Bugle Corps and the Union Fire Company #2 Band from Ballston Spa.
