You can access it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/healing-health-wellness\/2021\/03\/cleansing-and-detoxing-in-a-chemical-world-shielding-the-body-from-toxic-insults-using-a-naturopathic-and-haes-health-at-every-size-approach-part-iii\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/cleansing-detox-haes-naturopathic-bpa-chemicals-economic-cost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">latest post<\/a> is the fourth in this sequence. In it, I explore how the chemicals that cause negative effects on the individual also detrimentally influence our healthcare system, economy, and society.<\/p>\n<p>Topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An overview of several mechanisms that explain how harmful chemicals cause the derangement of our cells, our organ systems, and our overall wellness. I specifically use the example of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), ubiquitous compounds found in our food, beverages, and consumer products that possess estrogen-mimicking effects. EDCs have been associated with many hormonal and fertility risks and other multiple imbalances.<\/li>\n<li>How the health effects of EDCs and other chemicals lead to substantial financial burdens on our healthcare system and the domestic and international market.<\/li>\n<li>Various regulatory actions and amendments that could be taken on the national and global scale as possible solutions.<\/li>\n<li>What one can do on a personal level to protect themselves from harm and how to advocate for the advancement of consumer and environmental safety for their local, domestic, and world community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/cleansing-detox-haes-naturopathic-bpa-chemicals-economic-cost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> to read more.<\/p>\n<p>By making people aware of the issues, we can spark change, but it is the action and intention behind it that will make the biggest difference. She has contributed as an item writer for the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE) and has several articles that have been published in the Naturopathic Doctor News and Review Digest (NDNR) and the Townsend Letter, both physician- based journals.
