Hormones have a widespread impact on many<\/a> biological processes, so it makes sense that various issues can become more prominent<\/a> when these powerful chemical messengers fluctuate in their levels.<\/p>\n

In fact, up to 90%<\/a> of women report an aggravation of symptoms before and during their period, premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Interestingly, it is estimated that one-third<\/a> of healthy women experience digestive issues before and during their period.<\/p>\n

Yet did you know that there is a gut-hormone connection that not only impacts biological females, but can also affect all genders?<\/p>\n
