Through AI, social media, the internet, and podcasts, people can easily find copious sources of education and a diversity of opinions on wellness topics.<\/p>\n<p>This vast amount of available knowledge is highlighting to the masses the impressive evidence of how food affects health. The more recent science of <a href=\"https:\/\/health.clevelandclinic.org\/how-does-nutrigenomics-work\">nutrigenomics<\/a> and years of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41591-024-02891-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">epidemiological<\/a> research support that dietary interventions can positively <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amjmed.com\/article\/S0002-9343(24)00497-2\/fulltext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">influence<\/a> physical, <a href=\"https:\/\/neurosciencenews.com\/mind-diet-brain-aging-29194\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cognitive<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32989449\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brain<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s44220-024-00226-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">health<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/cleansing-detox-naturopathic-medicine-health-at-every-size-anti-diet-toxins-organic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conflicting<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/four-ways-that-essential-oils-gently-yet-powerfully-aid-detoxification-and-cleansing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opinions<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/short-reads\/2016\/12\/02\/most-americans-take-conflicting-food-studies-in-stride\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contradictory<\/a> research findings, and the impact of <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/diet-culture-healthcare-eating-disorder-disordered-eating\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">diet culture<\/a> on healthcare makes it difficult to decipher how to best eat for optimal vitality and mood.<\/p>\n<p>Is there a simple solution?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How Does Nutrition Affect the Brain and Who Do We Listen To?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In my latest <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/eating-for-your-brain-part-1-sorting-through-conflicting-information-on-health-and-how-to-nourish-your-brain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a> blog, I discuss why this period in medicine provides an opportunity to learn more about nutrition\u2019s effect on the mind-body. I intentionally steer clear of dietary conflicts (carnivore vs. vegan, etc.) and restrictive practices. Dr. LoBisco is also a hired speaker on integrative medical topics for medical professionals. Dr. LoBisco currently incorporates her training in holistic medical practices and conventional medicine through writing, researching, private practice, and through her independent contracting work for companies regarding supplements, nutraceuticals, essential oils, and medical foods. She has a small, private wellness consultation practice through telephone and Skype. Dr. LoBisco also enjoys continuing to educate and empower her readers through her blogs and social media. She has contributed as an item writer for the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE) and has several articles that have been published in the Naturopathic Doctor News and Review Digest (NDNR) and the Townsend Letter, both physician- based journals. Dr. LoBisco is also a hired speaker on integrative medical topics for medical professionals.
