Whether gathering with your friends at the track, walking down Broadway to purchase your prizes, exploring the Healing Springs, or jamming at SPAC, it\u2019s always a fun time. Many know that with warmer weather, horses can get antsy. However, unwanted critters also can get more feisty as well.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, some of these bugs can negatively affect human health in a big way. Ticks, which can carry various pathogens, are some of the most feared. These vectors can attach to humans and transmit <em>Borrelia burgdorferi, <\/em>leading to Lyme disease, and various associated co-infections.<\/p>\n<p>So, to keep your summertime free from these pesky and harmful annoyances, I\u2019ve compiled resources and information on Lyme disease in my latest <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/integrative-approaches-to-preventing-and-treating-chronic-lyme-disease\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video blog<\/a>.
