With Thanksgiving Day approaching in the U.S., we’re being inundated with reminders to be grateful. Fortunately, we have plenty of things to do in Saratoga, NY that uplift our spirits, thanks to all of the Saratoga fall events<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yet, if we are feeling stressed or upset, setting aside time for the upcoming festive winter<\/a> activities in our favorite historical hot spot may not be foremost on our minds. In fact, for some people, this season can heighten feelings of isolation, anxiety, or stress.<\/p>\n

When gratitude feels forced, it can seem like an inauthentic and empty affirmation. Yet, acknowledging the good in our lives has real value and is not the same as promoting \u201ctoxic positivity.\u201d \u00a0In fact, evidence shows gratitude practices benefit both physical and mental health and overall well-being.<\/p>\n
