With the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/shopping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shopping<\/a> for gifts in Saratoga\u2019s quaint shops mostly complete, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/winter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">festive<\/a> events shifting to Saratoga\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/winter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winter<\/a> activities, many are experiencing a sigh of relief that the seasonal hustle and bustle is dying down.<\/p>\n<p>As the world softens in an overlay of white, we have more time to reflect on the meaning of the season. Whereas <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/embracing-the-presence-of-christmas-love-as-healing-medicine-and-an-aromatic-blend-to-ignite-the-holiday-spirit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">secular<\/a> Christmas brings light to the contrast between materialism and giving, it also provides a tribute to being human, generosity, togetherness, and kindness.<\/p>\n<p>The love that is celebrated through the birth of Christ is profound and sacred. Although some may disagree, it does not have to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/Santa-Claus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">separated<\/a> from Santa Claus. Both personify selfless giving, peace, and joy for all to embrace this time of year.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever form love comes in, it <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/santa-clause-exists-love-is-medicine-on-the-brain-and-body\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acts<\/a> as medicine. In fact, this cherished emotion literally changes our brain and <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/santa-clause-exists-love-is-medicine-on-the-brain-and-body\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">neurobiology<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, I\u2019ve shared <a href=\"https:\/\/dr-lobisco.com\/a-roundup-of-essential-oil-resources-to-stay-sane-through-the-holidays-and-soothe-the-mind-and-body\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">resources<\/a> on using essential oils to reduce seasonal stress.
