Essential oils are my favorite holistic tools for the mind and body. Through a combination of their powerful aromatic properties and physical compounds, they can immediately shift emotions and impact multiple factors<\/a> related to the health of the brain. I have been discussing this concept as part of my recent series on using oils for mental health. First, I highlighted how lavender oil<\/a> soothes the mind and body while it provides multiple systemic benefits. Next, I provided several articles<\/a> on sage essential oils that have both experimental and human trials that support their role in memory, cognition, and mood support.<\/p>\n

In my recent article, \u201cThe Power of Essential Oils for Preserving Brain Function with a Focus on Sage Oil,\u201d I continue to explore the benefits of essential oils for mental health and cognition. I highlight an article review on aromatherapy for psychiatric disorders and then discuss how essential oils\u2019 multiple actions can be used to preserve brain function. Sage, a well-named essential oil for its reported effects, is featured again.<\/p>\n
