The Giving Circle Of Saratoga Springs: Helping Local Communities & Families In Need

The Giving Circle is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2006 in Saratoga Springs New York. Its mission is to match needs within the human community with those who can fulfill them in a spirit of giving, cooperation, and support.

Through the concentrated efforts of volunteer crews who offer their time and resources, The Giving Circle has focused on repairing and rebuilding homes and communities ravaged by storms such as Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, or damaging floods in the Southern Tier of New York in 2006. When the city of Waveland, MS was devastated by Katrina in 2005, The Giving Tree offered assistance with rebuilding and repairs that hastened the recovery for many families within this community.

As part of their fundraising efforts, the group sponsors the annual Waveland Wellness Festival and the Saratoga Springs Mardi Gras Festival, raising money and awareness for those in need. In addition to fundraising, The Giving Circle educates the public on what its most pressing needs are, and how the beneficiaries of its efforts progress.

As part of their mission, The Giving Circle of Saratoga Springs seeks out corporate sponsorship and private donations. Volunteers for outreach programs to needy communities and hands-on work are welcomed. The Giving Circle encourages anyone who has goods, skills or services they would like to share - or simply would like more information - to contact them at (518) 226-0104. Visit The Giving Circle website for more details and information on how you can help.
