Applications are now being accepted for
\nSaratoga Hospital<\/b>‘s Students Sharing
\nOpportunities and Responsibilities
\n(SSOAR) program.<\/p>\n
SSOAR is an eight-week summer volunteer
\nprogram for Saratoga County students
\nbetween the ages of 15-18. Students will
\nhave the opportunity to volunteer in one
\nof several areas of the hospital, including
\nthe Regional Therapy Center, Food and
\nNutrition Services, The Gift Shoppe, and
\nTreasures Consignment Boutique.<\/p>\n
The 2013 program will offer this opportunity to 35 students who will serve for a minimum of 48 hours over the course of the summer.<\/p>\n
Applications are available by visiting www.saratogahospital.org\/aboutus\/volunteering<\/p>\n
Program information is also available through local high school guidance counselors. Completed applications must be received by April 12. Accepted SSOAR participants are required to attend a mandatory orientation being held on June 25.<\/p>\n
