Lakeside Luxury Living is coming to Ballston
\nLake and it’s bringing the highest standard of
\nquality for its residents, according to the developer.<\/p>\n

“As the name implies, we’re building apartments
\nthat are comfortable, spacious, safe, and
\nconvenient,” said developer Eric Katz.<\/p>\n

The 32-unit complex is being built near the
\nintersection of Route 50 and Connolly Road.
\nApartments will be approximately 1,100 square
\nfeet, each with two bedrooms and two baths,
\nhe said.
\nAll units will have granite countertops,
\nstainless-steel appliances, soundproofing, highefficiency
\ninsulation, sprinklers and a security
\nsystem. Each unit will also have an 8-by-12 foot
\ndeck, made of vinyl to be maintenance-free,
\nKatz noted.<\/p>\n

Katz is designing the complex for professionals and those who are age 55 and older. “There really is a growing need locally for sizable living spaces for ’empty nesters’ and younger individuals and couples who don’t have a need for a house,” Katz said.<\/p>\n

An advantage over several other area apartment complexes, he said, is that 16 of the Lakeside Luxury apartments will have their own two-stall garages. Garages will be attached to the main complex, so residents won’t have to brave the elements during the winter. Outside, the courtyard will also have gas grills and pavilions.<\/p>\n

On the other side, the complex will be close to factory outlets and other local services. Because the apartments will be located in a watershed area, Katz has taken steps to protect the local environmental by installing a stateof- the-art sewage and filtration system that he said exceeds all state and federal regulations. Lakeside Luxury Living is a personal project for Katz, who is a lifelong resident of Ballston Lake. His wife, Rose, is the property manager, so they’ll be directly involved in the day-to-day operation of the complex.<\/p>\n

“My family and I live nearby. We want to build something that’s good for our community and that will bring people and business into Ballston Lake,” said Katz.<\/p>\n
