Grants totaled $28,204. Over the nine years
\nthe foundation has been in existence, 152 organizations
\nin Saratoga County have received
\nover $267,000 in grants, officials said.<\/p>\n
The organizations that received grants included:
\nLake George Opera Festival Association
\nInc., National Bottle Museum and Saratoga
\nMentoring, $500 each.<\/p>\n
Dance Alliance, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties, $750 each.<\/p>\n
AIM, Services Inc., Children’s Museum at Saratoga, Helping Hands School, Saratoga Children’s Theatre Inc., Saratoga County Children’s Committee, STEP Saratoga Therapeutic Equestrian Program Inc., Senior Citizens Center of Saratoga Springs, Inc., Race Track Chaplaincy of America, Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, $1,000 each.<\/p>\n
Grants of more than $1,000 went to Saratoga Center for the Family ($1,050), Donovan House ($1,500), Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, Inc. ($1,500), Saratoga Arts Inc. ($1,500), Saratoga Bridges ($1,500), Saratoga Sponsor-A-Scholar ($1,500), Franklin Community Center ($2,000), Shelter’s of Saratoga, Inc.
