The Visiting Nurse Association of Albany,
\nSaratoga & Rensselaer (VNA), a certified
\nhome health care agency, recently relocated
\ntheir Saratoga County office to 517 Broadway,
\nSaratoga Springs.<\/p>\n

The new location is centrally located
\nin the county, and provides a convenient
\nbase for VNA clinicians who serve patients
\nwho reside in Saratoga County, officials
\nsaid. The VNA has been serving patients
\nin Saratoga County since the early 1980s.<\/p>\n

The office is managed by Teresa Bravata, RN, a resident of Saratoga Springs, and is the clinical operations hub for the skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapist staffs, home health aides, LPN support staff, and clinical managers that services patients in their Saratoga County homes.<\/p>\n

\nVisiting Nurses Home Care (VNHC), a licensed home care agency and an affiliate of the VNA, will eventually share the office space with the VNA, said officials. with anticipated growth for both organizations, this new office provides the space and centralized location for staff training and recruitment.<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to have our offices in a landmark location in the historic and vibrant city of Saratoga Springs,” said Susan Larman, VNA’s CEO. “We welcome the opportunity to continue to provide skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to an expanded patient population, and have the visibility that this office location provides.”<\/p>\n

She said the VNA has deep roots in the region, dating back to 1880, so it’s fitting that the new location has its own history in Saratoga. Built in 1936, the building operated as a theatre until 1980, and then eventually was converted to office and retail space over the past 20 years.<\/p>\n

The VNA of Albany, Saratoga and Rensselaer is a Medicare and Medicaid certified non-profit home health care agency governed by a board of directors of community members. It provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation services and home health aides to the counties it serves. Visiting Nurses Home Care, a licensed service home care agency, is an affiliate of the VNA and provides service in 18 counties in the greater capital region.<\/p>\n

VNHC provides supportive services including certified home health and personal care, homemakers, licensed practical nursing, and registered professional nursing. VNHC provides services under the Consumer Directed Personal Assistant Program (CDPAP), and is approved for service coordination and as a provider for the nursing home transition and diversion\/ traumatic brain injury programs.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
