The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County
\nannounced its executive officers and board of
\ndirectors for 2014, a team including representatives
\nacross all business spectrums throughout
\nits coverage area.<\/p>\n

This year’s officers are headed by Dianne
\nBarber-Kansas of Kansas Eye Surgery, board
\nchairwoman.<\/p>\n

With the face of Tech Valley changing
\nrapidly, the chamber board now has four
\nforeign-born directors, plus representatives
\nfrom high- and low-tech manufacturing, education,
\nagriculture, retail, finance, medical,
\nconstruction, real estate, consulting and entrepreneurial,
\nsaid Pete Bardunias, chamber
\npresident and CEO.<\/p>\n

“Southern Saratoga County is blessed to have a strong local business organization and our board reflects that,” said Bardunias. “We are concentrated south of Northway Exit 13 yet have the assets of a large, regional organization, enabling us to develop the Saratoga County Community Development Program and Veteran’s Entrepreneurial Training Program. These strengthen our downtowns and help entrepreneurs get off to a good start.”<\/p>\n

Along with Kansas, this year’s officers include Daniel Kumlander, Roback, Kumlander & Pehl CPAs, chairman-elect; Scott Rajeski, Latham International Pools, treasurer and first vice chairman; James Wachala, Turner Construction, secretary; Paul Milton, Ellis Medicine, immediate past chairman.<\/p>\n

“This is a dynamic board and I am honored to serve as its chairwoman,” said Kansas. “With so much energy and enthusiasm we are expecting our 2014 initiatives to really make a difference in serving the southern Saratoga County business community.<\/p>\n
