{"id":14660,"date":"2014-03-04T13:38:04","date_gmt":"2014-03-04T18:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/2014\/03\/wine-tasting-to-raise-charity-project-funds.html"},"modified":"2014-03-04T13:38:04","modified_gmt":"2014-03-04T18:38:04","slug":"wine-tasting-to-raise-charity-project-funds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/2014\/03\/wine-tasting-to-raise-charity-project-funds\/","title":{"rendered":"Wine Tasting To Raise Charity Project Funds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> The Kiwanis Club of Wilton\/Saratoga will<br \/>\nhost its 16th annual Wine and Beer Tasting<br \/>\nevent 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25th,<br \/>\nat the Saratoga Springs City Center.<\/p>\n<p>The club is currently looking for Business<br \/>\nand Personal Sponsors to the event<br \/>\nand donations for silent and live auctions.<br \/>\nSponsorship levels range from $150 to<br \/>\n$750, and all levels receive advertising and<br \/>\ncomplimentary tickets to the event.<\/p>\n<p>The annual tasting attendance averages<br \/>\nover 200 people according to the Kiwanis<br \/>\nClub. Tickets are $35 presale and $40 at<br \/>\nthe door. <\/p>\n<p>The event raises money for various community service projects. These include fostering youth literacy through a Reading is Fundamental program; Breakfast with Santa; purchasing clothes and toys for more than 300 children in need at Christmas; and providing Thanksgiving food baskets to over 200 families.<\/p>\n<p>The club also provides help and financial support to individuals and organizations throughout Saratoga County. Through these and other community service projects, the Wilton Kiwanis Club regularly invests over $20,000 per year back into the local community.
