The festival competition consisted<br \/>\nof three categories: dessert, savory dish and<br \/>\nbeverage. The public rated each chocolate<br \/>\nentry on a ballot from which the scores were<br \/>\ntotaled to determine the winners.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the dessert category is the<br \/>\nD-Line Pub of 15 Prospect St. Owner Larry<br \/>\nWeaver entered his Triple Chocolate Brownies.<br \/>\nZest Catering, 3 Science St., Ballston Spa,<br \/>\ntook the honors for favorite savory dish. Chefs<br \/>\nand owners Carla and Eric Kuchar submitted<br \/>\nAsado de Bodas, a chocolate pork chili.<\/p>\n<p>The beverage category produced a tie for<br \/>\nthe top pick. Coffee Planet, 100 Milton Ave.,<br \/>\nwon for the coffee drink &#8220;turtle candy,&#8221; with<br \/>\nhazelnut, caramel and chocolate flavors.
