\nwinners of the 2014 Ballston Spa Chocolate
\nFestival. The festival competition consisted
\nof three categories: dessert, savory dish and
\nbeverage. The public rated each chocolate
\nentry on a ballot from which the scores were
\ntotaled to determine the winners.<\/p>\n
\nD-Line Pub of 15 Prospect St. Owner Larry
\nWeaver entered his Triple Chocolate Brownies.
\nZest Catering, 3 Science St., Ballston Spa,
\ntook the honors for favorite savory dish. Chefs
\nand owners Carla and Eric Kuchar submitted
\nAsado de Bodas, a chocolate pork chili.<\/p>\n
\nthe top pick. Coffee Planet, 100 Milton Ave.,
\nwon for the coffee drink “turtle candy,” with
\nhazelnut, caramel and chocolate flavors. Zest
\nCatering tied with their Chocolate Mock-Tini.
\nTwenty-one participants either submitted a
