Musical and dance performances<br \/>\nwill also take place near the Saratoga<br \/>\nbandstand and gazebo throughout each<br \/>\nafternoon, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The International Heritage Series lineup<br \/>\nwill include: Latino-American Day on July<br \/>\n23; Italian-American Day on July 30; Irish-American<br \/>\nDay on aug. 6; African-American<br \/>\nDay on aug. 13; and Asian-American Day on<br \/>\nAug. 20. The final installment of the series<br \/>\nwill celebrate the history and culture of<br \/>\nSaratoga Springs with Saratoga Heritage<br \/>\nDay on Aug. 27.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We look forward to welcoming first-time<br \/>\nfans and loyal guests to Saratoga to celebrate<br \/>\ntheir heritage and enjoy some of the<br \/>\nfinest thoroughbred racing in the world,&#8221;<br \/>\nsaid NYRA CEO and President Chris Kay.<\/p>\n<p>Fans will be encouraged to dress up<br \/>\ntheir picnic displays in the backyard with<br \/>\ncultural d\u00e9cor in correspondence with<br \/>\nthe weekly theme for the chance to win a<br \/>\nvariety of prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Named one of the top 10 sports venues in<br \/>\nthe nation by Sports Illustrated, Saratoga<br \/>\nRace Course has been the summer home<br \/>\nto champion thoroughbreds, renowned<br \/>\ntrainers, celebrated jockeys and famed<br \/>\nhorsemen for over 150 years.<\/p>\n<p>Organizations interested in participating<br \/>\nin the inaugural international Heritage Series<br \/>\nat Saratoga Race Course should contact<br \/>\nnicole cochetti at 383-6183 or &#110;&#x63;&#111;&#x63;&#104;&#x65;&#116;&#x74;&#105;&#x40;&#101;&#x64;l&#x65;w&#x69;&#46;&#x63;o&#x6d;.<\/p>\n<p>The 2014 summer meet at Saratoga<br \/>\nRace Course begins on Friday, July 18,<br \/>\nand concludes on Labor Day, Monday, Sept.<br \/>\n1.
