Local construction companies were
\namong the award winners in the annual
\nParade of Homes held recently, sponsored
\nby the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers
\nAssociation.<\/p>\n
The event featured 12 new homes around
\nthe capital region. The awards event
\nwas held at the Fasig Tipton building in
\nSaratoga Springs on June.
\nAnnemarie Mitchell, CRBRA president,
\nsaid 2014 “was an epic year for the Parade
\nof Homes. The homes were all impressive.”<\/p>\n
In the Luxury Home category, Balzer +
\nTuck architecture in Saratoga Springs won
\nthe award for architectural design. Moreau Associates in Saratoga Springs won the
\ncraftsmanship award and BCI Construction
\nwon the award for curb appeal. Interior
\ndecorating saw a tie between Balzer + Tuck\/
\nMoreau Associates and BCI Construction.<\/p>\n
The award for best kitchen went
\nto Balzer + Tuck\/Moreau Associates,
\nas was the media technology award.
\nThe award for best master bedroom suite
\nwas a tie between Tuck\/ Moreau Associates
\nand BCI Construction.<\/p>\n
In the Pinnacle Home category, Witt
\nConstruction of Saratoga Springs swept
\nall the awards, winning for architectural
\ndesign, craftsmanship, curb appeal, interior
\ndecorating, best kitchen, media technology
\nand master bedroom suite.<\/p>\n
In the Townhome Collection category,
\nMalone & Tate Builders of Schenectady
\nwon all the awards, but did tie with Carrow
\nReal Estate of Albany for the curb appeal
\nand media technology awards.<\/p>\n
In the Executive Home category, Saratoga
\nBuilders of Saratoga Springs won the award
\nin each sub-category, but share with Belmonte
\nBuilders of Saratoga Springs the
\nawards for the curb appeal, media technology
\nand interior decorating.<\/p>\n
In the Luxury Condominium category,
\nBCI Construction won for its Loudon House.<\/p>\n
Pam Krison, executive Officer of CRBRA
\nsaid, “it is fantastic to hear and see the
\nreaction from the attendees as we continue
\nCRBRA’s mission to keep the public educated
\non the latest trends and technology
\nin residential construction. The builders
\nthat participated in the Parade of Homes
\nare leading edge.”<\/p>\n
