The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association
\nannounced the 12th annual “The Way We
\nWere” car show to be held Sunday, Oct. 12, 9 a.m. to
\n4 p.m. on Front Street in Ballston Spa.
\nThe rain date will be Oct. 19.<\/p>\n

People who attend will be able to stroll the
\nhistoric village’s Front Street, while checking out
\na wide variety of cars and trucks and enjoying
\noutdoor barbecues, vendors, and music.<\/p>\n

Front Street will be blocked off from Milton
\nAvenue past the Old Iron Springs to accommodate
\ncar exhibits and vendors. In the past, the event
\nhas attracted hundreds of display vehicles and
\nthousands of automobile aficionados from all over
\nthe region.<\/p>\n

Organizers said it is one of the few local judged
\nshows and several trophies will be awarded, including
\nBest of Show, Mayor’s Choice, Best Engine, Best
\nPaint, Best Stock, Oldest Vehicle plus the top five
\nin each of 13 categories.
\nJudging begins at 9:30 a.m. with trophies
\nawarded at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The event is free to spectators. Exhibitors can
\npre-register by Oct. 1 for $10 per car or $15 on the
\nday of show. All proceeds will benefit community
\nactivities sponsored by the BSBPA.<\/p>\n

Dash plaques will be given to the first 400 cars
\nregistered and the first 200 cars registered will
\nreceive car show souvenirs.<\/p>\n
