Campbell<\/p>\n<p>Lovers of Mediterranean cuisine now have<br \/>\na destination in Clifton Park Center Mall to<br \/>\nenjoy kebabs, grilles, seafood and other Turkish<br \/>\ndelicacies.<\/p>\n<p>Istanblue Mediterranean Restaurant opened<br \/>\nin August. It is the second location for the<br \/>\nfamily-owned restaurant, the other opening<br \/>\nroughly a year ago in Congress Plaza in<br \/>\nSaratoga Springs.<\/p>\n<p>According to restaurant manager Emrah<br \/>\nAtici, owner Rasul Ramin had several goals in<br \/>\nexpanding the business into Clifton Park.<br \/>\n&#8220;We have many loyal customers who will find<br \/>\nClifton Park a more convenient location than<br \/>\ndriving up to Saratoga,&#8221; said Atici.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, there is expected to be a steadier<br \/>\nflow of patrons to Clifton Park throughout the<br \/>\nyear than is typical for Saratoga Springs, he<br \/>\nsaid.<br \/>\n&#8220;Being in Saratoga, there is a more seasonal<br \/>\ninflux to the original Istanblue Restaurant,&#8221;<br \/>\nAtici said.<\/p>\n<p>The building at 22 Clifton Country Road is<br \/>\nrelatively new. In five years, it has been the site<br \/>\nof an Irish pub and a breakfast eatery. But Atici<br \/>\nsaid he hopes Istanblue &#8220;stays for a long time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With 3,625 square feet of space, the Clifton<br \/>\nPark restaurant is nearly the same size as the<br \/>\nSaratoga restaurant. It seats about 120 people.<br \/>\nBoth restaurants have the same menu, with<br \/>\nsome items changing every six to 12 months, depending on the season and availability of<br \/>\ningredients.<br \/>\nAll menu items are prepared by hand, Atici<br \/>\nsaid, and about 30 percent of the ingredients<br \/>\nare locally grown.<\/p>\n<p>Istanblue opens for lunch and dinner and<br \/>\noffers a variety of Turkish specialties, including<br \/>\nkebabs of chicken, beef, lamb or shrimp, filet<br \/>\nmignon, stuffed cabbage, roasted eggplant and<br \/>\nmoussaka.<\/p>\n<p>Its website is www.istanbluemediterranean.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> Exotic dishes can be found at Istanblue Mediterranean Restaurant, now also in Clifton Park.
