\nSaratoga Gift Basket in Greenfield Center,
\nwhich produces themed gift baskets
\nfeaturing local products.<\/p>\n
The new owners said they will continue
\nto offer items for which Saratoga
\nGift Basket is already famous, as well
\nas some new creations incorporating
\nproducts from Saratoga Salsa & Spice.<\/p>\n
Owners John and Sherry Knotek said
\nthat, in keeping with their goal of using
\nas much local and New York state product
\nas possible, the baskets are custom
\nmade wooden boxes made by Unlimited
\nPotential in Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n
“Besides filling the baskets with products
\nwe carry in our store, we use locallymade
\nchocolates, cookies, coffee–you name it,” said John. “The idea is to make
\neach basket ‘sing Saratoga’ and present
\ntop quality products to its recipient.”
\nSaid Sherry, racetrack and hospitality
\nbaskets are popular in the summer.<\/p>\n
“In September, sales of baskets themed
\nfor college students will pick up as
\nparents send care packages to their
\nkids. Then it’s on to the exciting holiday
\nseason.”<\/p>\n
She said throughout the year the business
\nprovides production and delivery
\nservices for corporate clients who give
\nhospitality baskets to clients.
\n“It’s relentless,” Sherry said.<\/p>\n
