Tushita Heaven reopened in a larger location
\nat 423 Broadway in Saratoga Springs,
\noffering a variety of rocks, crystals and
\nother supplies for those who are interested
\nin metaphysics and alternative medicine.<\/p>\n

Dawn Hall opened the store in 2005,
\nwhen her family was living in California.<\/p>\n

Hall used the store to operate a wellness
\ncenter where she devoted her time to
\npracticing alternative medicine, as well as
\nselling retail products. In 2011, she moved
\nthe store to Saratoga Springs, where her
\nhusband grew up. Hall is from Maine. The
\nspace she has now on Broadway is much
\nlarger.<\/p>\n

She enjoys being back on the East Coast.
\n“People in Saratoga really love the shop,
\nwhich makes it nice” she said. “I so appreciate
\nbeing here.”<\/p>\n

“Tushita Heaven is really unique. Our
\nmission is to provide quality products for
\nthose who are looking to improve the quality
\nof their lives” said Hall.<\/p>\n

The store features stones and crystals
\nof all kinds. In the front of the store, there
\nare displays of tumbled stones and the
\nmetaphysical property of each stone. Hall
\nsaid novices to the world of metaphysics
\nenjoy looking at that display.<\/p>\n

The store also features a wide variety
\nof spiritual items, such as Raku pottery,
\na form of Japanese pottery that is hand shaped to allow each piece to be unique;
\nsinging bowls, used for meditative purposes;
\nincenses and natural oils; tarot cards and
\ngreeting cards; statues, of both Buddhist
\nand Hindu central figures; Native American
\nspiritual products, such as smudging items
\nand medicine wheels; a large selection of
\njewelry; books; candles; and more.<\/p>\n

Tushita Heaven offers, among its many
\nproducts, a selection of items that are used
\nin the healing arts. Each of the rocks in
\nthe store, according to Hall, has a certain
\nproperty. People use rocks and crystals
\nindividually or in combination to achieve
\ncertain effects. Amethyst, she said, is a
\nnatural tranquilizer and is a good stone for
\novercoming addictions. Turquoise is a purification
\nstone, dispelling negative energy.<\/p>\n

Hall said people will feel “drawn” to
\ndifferent stones, depending on where they
\nare emotionally and spiritually in their life.
\n“Some people just collect crystals because
\nthey are pretty, not because of their
\nproperties” she said.<\/p>\n

“People are blown away by the selection”
\nshe said. “And we’re not high end. We have
\nitems that range from fifty cents all the way
\nup to $50,000. There’s something here for
\neverybody.”<\/p>\n

Tushita Heaven also features massage
\ntherapy sessions, reiki sessions, psychic
\nand tarot card readings, and other types
\nof events.<\/p>\n

Hall travels across the United States attending
\nmineral and crystal shows to find
\nproducts for Tushita Heaven. She recently
\nwent to a show in Denver. A few weeks
\nbefore that, she was in Arizona. She also
\nimports items from countries such as Brazil,
\nto give her customers the highest quality
\nproducts available.<\/p>\n

Hall and her staff are always willing
\nto answer questions people have about
\nmetaphysics.<\/p>\n

Tushita Heaven has a website with an
\nonline store. Most items found in store can
\nalso be found on the website.<\/p>\n

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
\nSunday through Thursday, and until 8 p.m.
