The Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau,
\nDeCrescente Distributing Co. and Olde
\nSaratoga Brewing Co. have partnered together
\nto launch the second annual Toys For Toga
\ncampaign to help brighten local children’s
\nholiday season.<\/p>\n

Born in conjunction with the annual
\nSaratoga County Winter Restaurant Week, this
\nyear’s Toys for Toga campaign starts almost
\na month earlier than last year with a kickoff
\nevent on Monday, Nov. 10.<\/p>\n

It was expanded to include local retail and
\nbar locations by offering consumers the chance
\nto donate and receive a Toys for Toga “block
\npin up” or coaster showing they support the
\nprogram.<\/p>\n

A web page is in place to allow for donations
\nto be made securely online, 100 percent of
\nwhich buy toys for local children.
\nThe donated toys will be distributed to
\nFranklin Community Center, CAPTAIN Youth
\nand Family Services and Mechanicville Area
\nCommunity Services Center.<\/p>\n

The kickoff event will take place 4-6 p.m. at
\nthe Olde Saratoga Brewery, 131 Excelsior Ave,
\nSaratoga Springs.
\nContinuing through Saratoga County Winter
\nRestaurant Week, Dec. 5 -11, patrons can donate
\na new and unwrapped toy at any one of the
\nparticipating restaurants, bars and retailers.<\/p>\n
