Atlantic Specialty Lines (ASL), a

\nopened its newest office located in
\nSaratoga Springs.<\/p>\n
The office will be led by Jim Woolford,
\na four-year veteran to the ASL underwriting
\nteam. As a producer at ASL, he has
\nfocused on property and casualty, commercial
\npackages. Prior to joining ASL,
\nhe worked for a retail insurance agency
\nin Richmond, Va., focusing on commercial
\nlines placement.<\/p>\n
“By combining a strong and stable base
\nof premium with the opening of a physical
\nlocation in Saratoga Springs, we will
\nstrengthen our already long-standing relationships with New York and surrounding
\nagents,” said Greg Provenzo, president of
\nASL Mid-Atlantic.<\/p>\n
He said Woolford and his team “will
\nstick to the ASL core business values of
\nunderwriting integrity and providing our
\npartners with the best possible customer
\nexperience.”<\/p>\n
Atlantic Specialty Lines, Inc. was
\nformed in 1996 from the purchase of the
\ncontract underwriting and commercial
\nbrokerage operations book of Markel Services.
\nIt is based out of Richmond, Va., with
\nadditional offices operating in Florida, the
\nMidwest, Texas, Louisiana, New York and
\nPennsylvania.<\/p>\n
