The Saratoga Builders Association announced
\nproceeds totaling $50,000 from
\nthe 2014 Saratoga Showcase of Homes
\nto Rebuilding Together Saratoga County
\nand Habitat for Humanity of Northern
\nSaratoga, Warren and Washington counties.<\/p>\n

The association has contributed more
\nthan $875,000 to local charities from the
\nannual event. This was the 19th year for
\nthe showcase.<\/p>\n

The 2014 Saratoga Showcase of
\nHomes People’s Choice award winners
\nwere also announced. Classic Homes in
\nMechanicville won in the Classic Home
\ncategory, VanVeghten Construction won
\nin the Executive Home category and Witt
\nConstruction won in the Luxury Home
\ncategory.<\/p>\n

Winning the People’s Choice category
\nfor best “showcase chef” was Zest Cooks,
\ncapturing the culinary award for the second
\nconsecutive year.<\/p>\n

The 2014 edition featured 12 award winning
\nbuilders presenting 13 homes.
\nOrganizers said more than 3,000 people
\npurchased tickets to tour the homes on
\ndisplay over three autumn weekends.<\/p>\n

Attendees had an opportunity to preview
\ncurrent trends in building, landscaping, decorating and interior design.
\nThe Saratoga Builders Association officials
\nsaid they are looking forward to
\nkeeping the long-running show an integral
\npart of the fall season.<\/p>\n

Proceeds benefited two local charities-
\nRebuilding Together Saratoga County and
\nHabitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga,
\nWarren and Washington Counties.<\/p>\n

Officials said the 2015 Saratoga Showcase
\nof Homes will be held Sept. 19-20,
\n26-27 and Oct. 3-4. It will be the 20th anniversary
\nof this event. For more information,

The Saratoga Builders Association, Inc.
\n(SBA) is a professional trade association.
\nIts membership includes residential
\nand commercial builders, developers,
\nremodelers, building material suppliers,
\nsub-contractors, financial institutions,
\narchitects, engineers, realtors, attorneys
\nand other industry professionals.<\/p>\n
