Kane’s Fine Wine & Spirits opened in November
\nat 59 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n

Sean and Katie Kane have operated Trotta’s
\nFine Wine & Spirits for 20 years in Great Barrington,
\nMass. The Kane family has roots in
\nSaratoga Springs: Sean grew up in the city,
\nKatie attended Skidmore College, and both
\ntheir children were raised in Saratoga. The
\nfamily felt a pull to open a second location in
\nSaratoga.<\/p>\n

The business is now in its fourth generation
\nof ownership.
\n“My daughter is learning the business and
\nI’m hoping she sends me into an early retirement,”
\nsaid Sean Kane.<\/p>\n

Kane’s Fine Wine & Spirits carries a variety of wines and liquors from all over the United
\nStates and world. There are several different
\nprice points to meet customer needs.
\n“What product do you like? What do you
\nwant us to carry?” Kane asks his customers. He
\nis eager to understand the needs and wants of
\nhis customers and stock his store accordingly.<\/p>\n

The staff at Kane’s Fine Wine & Spirits are
\nhappy to assist people with their holiday shopping
\nneeds. For the holidays, Kane suggested
\npairing a California cabernet with a beef roast.
\nA sparkling French champagne or an Italian
\nprosecco are great celebratory wines, he added.<\/p>\n

Located in downtown Saratoga just two
\nblocks from Broadway, Kane’s offers off-street
\nparking and a hometown atmosphere. In the short amount of time the store has been open,
\nthe Kane family has already had a lot of success.
\n“I had people trying to get into the shop before
\nwe were even open,” said Kane. “It showed
\nme there was a need for this downtown.”<\/p>\n

Wine tastings will be offered every Friday
\nevening, with occasional Saturday pourings
\nas well. The staff will feature new wines and
\nshow customers how to pair them.
\nOn the company Facebook page, every Tuesday
\nthe store will showcase cocktail specials.<\/p>\n

Kane’s Fine Wine & Spirits is open Monday
\nthrough Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and
\non Sundays from noon until 6 p.m. For more
