Saratoga Hospital recently completed renovations
\nto its third-floor medical-surgical unit to
\nimprove the patient and visitor experience. The
\nnewly renovated unit has four private and eight
\nsemi-private rooms, for a total of 20 inpatient
\nbeds, officials said.<\/p>\n
All rooms received a face-lift, including fresh
\npaint, new furnishings, and computer equipment
\nthat enables most nursing tasks to be
\ncompleted closer to the bedside. Private rooms
\nalso were outfitted with flat-screen TVs. Other
\nrenovations include new patient showers, new
\nrestrooms for visitors, a new reception area, and
\na new nourishment station.<\/p>\n
Work began earlier this year and was done in
\nphases to minimize the disruption to patients
