Nick Adie and Bill Donovan, owners of Harvey’s
\nand Maestro’s restaurants in Saratoga
\nSprings, have partnered with their executive
\nchef, Danny Petrosino, to form Symphony
\nCatering Inc.<\/p>\n

“This new entity is a natural progression
\nof our efforts to provide for Saratoga’s
\ndining and event needs,” said Adie.
\n“On the one hand we offer fine dining at
\nMaestro’s and casual dining at Harvey’s on the
\nother. Now, we can provide catering service
\nto our guests who are hosting larger parties.”<\/p>\n

Maestro’s, 353 Broadway, recently introduced
\nits new banquet space christened the
\nEmpire Room. This 2,000-square-foot space
\nsits above Starbucks and overlooks Broadway
\nand was specially designed to offer the flexibility
\nand comfort for a wedding of 100 guests
\nor a business meeting of up to 120 people.<\/p>\n

Said Adie, “with the opening of the Empire
\nRoom, we now have three on-sight venues to
\naccommodate celebrations by our guests. The
\nOpus Room in Maestro’s provides an elegant
\nsetting for dinner parties of up to 14 people.
\nThe Library at Harvey’s has become a very
\npopular spot for larger parties of up to 32.
\nNow we can offer the Empire Room for larger
\ngroups.”<\/p>\n

Harvey’s is located at 14 Phila St.
\nUnder Petrosino’s guiding hand, the partners are looking to expand their catering
\nservices beyond their restaurants to the
\nmany popular venues in the Capital region.
\nPetrosino, has gained much experience in the
\ncatering end of the hospitality industry in his
\nformer positions at the Glen Sanders Mansion
\nin Scotia and Saratoga National Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Joining Petrosino in the kitchen is chef
\nJonathan Quinn, formerly the banquet chef
\nat Taste in Albany.<\/p>\n

Maestro’s employees Becky Harbour and
\nRaymond Boyce Jr. have left their positions
\nin the restaurant to assist in the management
\nof Symphony as event sales coordinator and
\nbanquet manager, respectively. Both Harbour
\nand Boyce have extensive backgrounds in
\ncatering.<\/p>\n

“We believe there is a demand in the
\nmarketplace for greater choices of caterers
\nwhen clients are planning an event. Our
\ngoal at Symphony is to be that alternative; to
\ngive our clients a level of quality and service
\nunmatched by the competition. We will do
\nthat by creating amazing dishes, through an
\nunending attention to detail and by working
\nwith the host in fulfilling their requests
\nthereby creating an unforgettable event”,
\nsaid Petrosino.<\/p>\n

Currently housed within the Maestro’s facility
\non Broadway, Petrosino said Symphony
\nis searching for space in the area to house a
\nlarger kitchen dedicated to catering services
\nonly.<\/p>\n

“We have been humbled by the early response
\nand number of event bookings already
\nsecured,” he said. “It is clear the majority of
\nevents we serve will be larger celebrations
\nand fundraisers held in other venues. Thus
\nit’s important we plan for and dedicate the
\nresources our future business will demand.”<\/p>\n
