They shared a passion for<br \/>\nlearning more about the benefits of the<br \/>\nmental and spiritual discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes the husband and wife team<br \/>\nwould host a yoga class by renting space in<br \/>\na school library, church, town recreation<br \/>\nroom or fitness center. Wherever people<br \/>\nwere interested in yoga, Wolfer and Jones<br \/>\nwould go.<\/p>\n<p>But they desired to have their own<br \/>\nspace. In, November they opened Rise<br \/>\nYoga &amp; Movement Arts Center in the<br \/>\nWashington Building at 422 Broadway,<br \/>\nSuite 202, Broadway, Saratoga Springs,<br \/>\nabove Northshire Bookstore.<\/p>\n<p>The center offers Vinyasa yoga, beginner<br \/>\nbreath and movement classes, alignment,<br \/>\nstrength and conditioning classes<br \/>\nand more.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are creating a community space<br \/>\nwhere members an come to enjoy our<br \/>\nbeautiful space to take classes, but also to<br \/>\nbreathe, meditate, read a book, or simply<br \/>\ntake advantage of breathing in our space<br \/>\nthat has an active plant wall,&#8221; Wolfer said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the plant wall is based on<br \/>\ncutting edge technology. Plants are fed<br \/>\nthrough a hydroponic system. The plant<br \/>\nsoil takes away the dust and dander in<br \/>\nthe space and the air is cleansed four<br \/>\ntimes a day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our space offers natural light, healthy<br \/>\nbreathing and specifically focuses on our<br \/>\nvision of what yoga is,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Our vision<br \/>\nis based on our life philosophy, our<br \/>\nvalues and our mission of yoga.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prior to opening the center, Wolfer<br \/>\ntaught yoga in various spaces and years<br \/>\nbefore played Division I baseball for St.<br \/>\nJoseph&#8217;s University, Philadelphia. He<br \/>\nbrings not only his sage experience of<br \/>\nyoga to the center, but also his understanding<br \/>\nof conditioning and training that<br \/>\nhe learned as an athlete.<\/p>\n<p>Jones is an accomplished professional<br \/>\ndancer. She was born and raised<br \/>\non Geurnsey Island, England, south of<br \/>\nLondon. She danced for 18 years at Center<br \/>\nPerforming Arts College, specializing in<br \/>\ntap, jazz, ballet, theater and, obviously,<br \/>\nyoga. The duo bring both physicality<br \/>\nand passion to new yoga center, giving<br \/>\nmembers the sense of being on retreat<br \/>\nwithout having to drive many miles for<br \/>\nthe experience.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yoga is a process,&#8221; Wolfer said. &#8220;It<br \/>\nconstantly lends itself to new beginnings.<br \/>\nIt is a relationship in both community<br \/>\nand life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There are various membership rates<br \/>\nand discounts for students, military, civil<br \/>\nservice and senior citizens.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about Rise Yoga<br \/>\n&amp;
