Mazzone Hospitality, a major caterer and
\nrestaurateur in the area, unveiled its new
\ncorporate headquarters at 743 Pierce Road in
\nClifton Park on Jan. 28.<\/p>\n

The 25,000-square-foot facility represents a
\n$2.5 million investment and for the first time
\nconsolidates the organization’s catering operations,
\nadministrative offices and warehouse in
\nthe same building, the company said.<\/p>\n

Approximately 50 employees work at the
\nheadquarters, including 20 new associates who
\nwere added to support Mazzone Hospitality’s
\ngrowing portfolio, said company officials.<\/p>\n

Officials from the community joined representatives
\nfrom Mazzone Hospitality to tour
\nthe facility, which features a state-of-the-art,
\n2,000-square-foot show kitchen that will be
\nused for cooking demonstrations, classes and
\nsmall private functions.<\/p>\n

The new headquarters houses a catering
\nkitchen, which will be used to prepare food for
\nup to 300 events each year, as well as a dedicated
\nbakery for wedding cakes, desserts and
\npastries. Additionally, the building includes a
\n10,000-square-foot catering storage warehouse.<\/p>\n

“Our new headquarters is the culmination
\nof decades of hard work, strategic growth and
\nsustained culinary excellence. I am incredibly
\nproud of our entire team and this would not
\nhave been possible without the commitment
\nthey demonstrate each day,” said Angelo Mazzone,
\nowner of Mazzone Hospitality. “The new
\nfacility allows us to become even more efficient
\nand cohesive by centralizing our operations. We
\nlook forward to continuing to create memorable
\nspecial events out of our new home base.”<\/p>\n

During the unveiling, Mazzone Hospitality
\nannounced a $5,800 donation to the Regional
\nFood Bank of Northeastern New York, which
\nwas the result of a recent company-wide charitable
\ninitiative. For each dessert sold at Mazzone
\nHospitality restaurants during December,
\npartial proceeds were donated to the food bank,
\nwith a matching contribution from Mazzone.<\/p>\n

Guests also contributed to the campaign via
\ncollection canisters and food donation bins,
\nand Mazzone Hospitality staff volunteered at
\nthe food bank throughout the month.<\/p>\n

“Angelo and the Mazzone Hospitality team
\nhave always been great community partners
\nand we are thankful for their generosity,”
\nsaid Mark Quandt, executive director of the
\nRegional Food Bank of Northeastern New
\nYork. “While his business is based on feeding
\nguests, Angelo recognizes that there are many
\nindividuals in our community who struggle
\nwith hunger on a daily basis. This donation and
\ntheir volunteer efforts are instrumental in our
\nmission to fight hunger.”<\/p>\n

Mazzone Hospitality owns and operates
\nGlen Sanders Mansion in Scotia featuring
\nAngelo’s Tavolo, two ballrooms and an inn;
\nAperitivo Bistro, a wine bar and bistro adjacent
\nto Proctors in Schenectady; Angelo’s Prime Bar
\n+ Grill, a bar and grill in Clifton Park; Tala, An
\nAmerican Bistro, in Latham; and Angelo’s 677
\nPrime, a steakhouse and wine bar in Albany.<\/p>\n

The company owns and operates Prime at
\nSaratoga National, an upscale steakhouse on
\nthe grounds of Saratoga National Golf Club.
\nThrough its PRIME Business Dining division
\nthe company oversees corporate dining
\noperations for M+W Group at The Foundry;
\nGlobalFoundries; PRIME @ 107; Ayco Caf\u00c3\u00a9;
\nGolub Headquarters; and the SI Group.<\/p>\n

The company operates and manages the
\nhistoric Parker Inn & Suites in downtown
\nSchenectady and also oversees the catering
\noperations at the Hall of Springs at the Gideon
\nPutnam in Saratoga Springs, Key Hall at Proctors,
\nand caters private weddings, fundraisers,
\nand corporate or social events.<\/p>\n
