The Chamber of Southern Saratoga
\nCounty named Scott Rajeski, vice president
\nand chief financial officer of Latham Pool
\nProducts, as its chairman for 2015.
\nHe replaces Dianne Barber-Kansas of
\nKansas Eye Surgery.<\/p>\n

Formerly employed by GE, Momentive
\nPerformance Materials and GlobalFoundries,
\nRajeski, a native of Mechanicville, is
\n“a logical fit for the volunteer leadership of
\nan organization that has staked its claim as
\nTech Valley’s leader in this vital business
\nsegment,” the Chamber said in a statement.<\/p>\n

“Having worked for GE, Momentive,
\nand GlobalFoundries, and now Latham, I
\nunderstand the issues we all face in the
\nregion when it comes to manufacturing,”
\nsaid Rajeski.<\/p>\n

“Being able to work with all of
\nthe key players to make the Capital District
\nthe place to be for manufacturing will serve
\nus all better right down to the many small
\nlocal businesses who will also benefit from
\nthe increased activity.”<\/p>\n

Rajeski leads a team of directors including
\nchairman-elect Josh Spain of Momentive,
\nVice Chairwoman Jenifer Marten of
\nBSNB, Treasurer John McCann of Teal,
\nBecker and Chiaramonte and Secretary
\nJames Wachala of Turner Construction.<\/p>\n

Factoring into the leadership group are
\nPanos Angelopoulos of Cleveland Polymer
\nTechnologies in Watervliet, who leads the Chamber’s new VIP Manufacturing Committee organized in fall 2014, and Joe Berman
\nof Price Chopper Supermarkets, director
\nof the Sustainability and Green Energy
\nCommittee.<\/p>\n
