Saratoga National Bank and Trust Co. plans
\nto open a ninth branch office location, this one
\nin the city of Troy.<\/p>\n

The bank is leasing a 1,200-square-foot space
\nat 120 Hoosick St. in the Hudson River Commons
\nPlaza. It will be a co-tenant with a new
\nStarbucks coffee shop.<\/p>\n

Bank officials said the new banking office
\nwill feature a full range of financial services
\nas well as a lobby and drive-up services. Pending
\nall regulatory approvals, it is expected to
\nopen later this year and will result in four new
\npositions, including a manager, two tellers and
\na commercial lender.<\/p>\n

The Troy office is Saratoga National bank’s
\nthird new location in three years and its first in
\nRensselaer County. Last year the Bank expanded
\nto Colonie, and before that to Clifton Park.<\/p>\n

President and CEO David S. DeMarco said
\nthis expansion represents a commitment to
\nserving the Capital Region and growing beyond
\nits Saratoga County roots.<\/p>\n

“A Troy branch will further establish our
\npresence in the growing Capital Region,”
\nDeMarco said. “Our style of true community
\nbanking has been well-received in Colonie and
\nClifton Park, and we are excited to deliver it
\nto the residents and businesses of Rensselaer
\nCounty.”<\/p>\n

Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company
\ncurrently provides banking, investment, insurance
\nand other financial services through eight
\nlocations in Saratoga and Albany counties. It is
