Dr. Bryan Briddell, owner and director of
\nSaratoga Peak Performance, said he has relaunched
\nhis business to include a “training
\ncenter of excellence.”<\/p>\n

The center, at 30 Glick Road in Saratoga
\nSprings, consists of sports conditioning experts
\nand certified personal trainers who are centered
\naround sports-specific, athletic enhancement and
\ninjury reduction programs. Briddell said they work
\nwith athletes of all ages and skill levels, as well as
\nhelping adult personal training clients.<\/p>\n

“We have helped hundreds of athletes and adult
\nclients achieve their goals,” said Briddell.<\/p>\n

Saratoga Peak Performance has various programs
\nincluding yoga, pilates, boot camp, postphysical
\ntherapy and general strength and fitness.
\n“We aren’t just an athletic training facility helping
\nschool-aged and collegiate athletes achieve
\ntheir goals, although we have been extremely
\nsuccessful in that regard and that’s what we’re
\nknown for, ” said Briddell.<\/p>\n

The client base ranges from athletes who have
\nearned NCAA Division I scholarships, to a pair of athletes who were recently selected to play for
\nthe U-19 Women’s National Field Hockey Team in
\nBelgium, to adults who are recreational 5K runners
\nand marathon runners. Briddell’s workouts
\nintegrate several components including strength,
\npower, flexibility, mobility, endurance and recovery
\ntechniques.<\/p>\n

Briddell earned his Ph.D. in the Department
\nof Movement Science of Florida State University
\nand served as an assistant professor and men’s
\ntennis coach at Skidmore College for eight years.
\nHis tennis program qualified individuals for five
\nconsecutive NCAA Division III championships.<\/p>\n

He has presented numerous athletic enhancement
\nseminars and workshops around the region
\nto youth, high school, college and adult sports
\ngroups. He is also a certified SPARQ and Nike
\nsports conditioning specialist.<\/p>\n

The training center of excellence utilizes
\ngroup classes integrating the best principles of
\nyoga, pilates, barre, cardio kick-boxing, functional
\nstrength, athletic movement and mobility.<\/p>\n
