David Geurtze and John Bogardus have
\npurchased B&B Wine and Liquors in the
\nPrice Chopper Plaza on Route 50 in Saratoga
\nSprings.<\/p>\n

They bought the company from Richard
\nSheridan and Dan Beauregard, who have operated
\nthe store since 1992 and ran it for 22 years.
\nThe former owners plan to retire, according to
\nThielGroup LLC, which brokered the sale.<\/p>\n

B&B Liquors has been serving the Saratoga
\nregion as a neighborhood liquor store since it
\nopened in 1973. The store is in a high-volume
\nshopping center with Price Chopper, as well as
\nmany national retail chains and local vendors.<\/p>\n

“John and I are very excited about our new
\nventure and all that Saratoga Springs has to
\noffer,” said Geurtze. “We look forward to continuing
\nto provide customers with the great wines
\nand spirits they enjoy, and growing our selection
\nto include new products.”<\/p>\n

“Our goal is to create a unique shopping experience,”
\nadded Bogardus. “We want to focus
\non providing expert professional service and
\ngreat quality products, all tailored to the needs
\nof the customer.”<\/p>\n

Beauregard said he and Sheridan “are delighted
\nto leave the store and our patrons in
\nthe hands of two industry experts. Dave has
\n15 years of experience and was the manager of
\nUpstate Wine and Spirits in Delmar’s Delaware
\nPlaza. John is an oenophile who will expand the
\nstores selection of fine wines.”<\/p>\n

Kathlene Thiel of ThielGroup, LLC. was
\nthe selling broker and advisor in the sale of
