Hoffman Car Wash will soon be expanding
\ninto Saratoga Springs.
\nThe car wash chain will be building its 22nd
\nlocation in southern Saratoga Springs, located
\nat the corner of Northline Road and Route 50,
\naccording to Tom Hoffman, CEO of Hoffman
\nCar Wash.<\/p>\n

Adirondack Trust Co. and Stewarts are located
\nnear the future site.
\nThe closest Hoffman’s location is in Wilton,
\nnear Applebee’s and Walmart.
\n“It’s one of our busiest locations,” said Hoffman.<\/p>\n

“There’s a need for another car wash. It’s
\nalways exciting to build something new.”
\nHoffman said the new car wash will be extremely
\nsuccessful.<\/p>\n

The project is currently under the final stages
\nof the approval process in front of the city Planning
\nBoard. Once approved, the company plans
\nto start construction and hopes to open the new
\ncar wash before the end of 2015.<\/p>\n

Hoffman said the company will invest between
\n$2.5 to $3 million in the project.
\nThe car wash will be styled after the Hoffman
\nCar Wash that opened in Amsterdam a couple years ago, said Hoffman. The facility will have
\nan exterior car wash, so that customers can
\nstay in the car while their car is being cleaned.
\nIt will also feature a free self-service vacuuming
\nstation.<\/p>\n

Environmental Design Partnership of Clifton
\nPark is doing the engineering work. Rucinski
\nHall Architecture of Saratoga Springs did the
\nbuilding design.<\/p>\n

A popular service is the unlimited car wash
\nclub. Members pay a monthly fee to be able to
\nwash their car as many times as they want.
\nHoffman Car Wash started in 1965 in Albany.
\nSince then,it has expanded with locations from
\nKingston to Queensbury. It is a family owned
\ncompany that CEO Hoffman has been involved
\nwith his entire life.<\/p>\n

Aside from the Hoffman Car Wash locations,
\nthe company is also a franchisee of several Jiffy
\nLube locations.
\nThis year, Hoffman Car Wash is celebrating its
\n50th year in business. Hoffman said he is excited
\nto be a part of the community and has no plans
\nto expand outside of New York state.<\/p>\n
