Shelli Cameron said she knew it was time. After
\n13 years of working with a national real estate
\nfirm, she decided to venture solo, opening her own
\nfirm, Cameron & Associates Real Estate Service,
\nlocated at 38 Saratoga Ave. in South Glens Falls.<\/p>\n

“This is the right time in my life to launch my
\nown company,” said Cameron.<\/p>\n

She owned a residential and commercial
\ncleaning service with a business partner which
\nthey decided to sell in 2002. She said she was
\ncontemplating what to do next when her father,
\nwho was flipping houses at the time, suggested
\nshe get a real estate license.<\/p>\n

“I have been licensed since 2002 with a large
\ncorporate firm and have helped hundreds of
\nclients and customers over the years with their
\nreal estate needs,” she said. “Over the past couple
\nof years, I was only doing real estate part-time
\nto pursue other successful business ventures,
\nhowever, I missed selling real estate full time and
\ndecided this was the right time in my life to open
\nmy own company.”<\/p>\n

Cameron’s base is in Warren, Washington and
\nSaratoga counties, where she feels she knows
\nthe real estate climate very well. She specializes
\nin both residential and commercial rentals and
\nproperty management.<\/p>\n

Cameron began with Coldwell Banker Prime
\nProperties in 2002, and it was there where she has
\nbeen able to gain experience. She has served on
\nthe Warren County Association of Realtors board of directors and has been a member of the Realtors
\npolitical action committee for six years. She
\nalso served as chairperson for the scholarship
\ncommittee for the Realtor Association. Given
\nall of her experience she said as she launched
\nher new business, she is excited to see her name
\nbehind her work.<\/p>\n

She said she is thankful to all those who have
