GlobalFoundries and Beard Integrated
\nSystems has brought in business from a
\nprocess piping contractor based out of Dallas.<\/p>\n

Beard Integrated Systems services Samsung,
\nTexas Instruments and the University of Texas
\nSystem. Now it will become a part of New York’s
\ngrowing semiconductor industry by working
\nwith the computer chip factory in Malta.<\/p>\n

Beard moved into their new office at
\n11 Stonebreak Road in Malta earlier this
\nmonth. Project Manager Zach Prince said the
\ncompany had been leasing space in Ballston
\nSpa for the last few years. Prince said the
\npartnership between the two companies
\nsymbolizes the future of this type of growing
\nindustry.<\/p>\n

“As a symbol of Beard’s dedication to the
\ngrowing business and the willingness to
\ndevelop customers for life in the Tech Valley
\nand the Capital Region in New York, Beard
\nrecently purchased a facility in Malta, New
\nYork this past May that will serve as its home
\nbase for work in the Capital Region as well as
\nother projects throughout the Empire State,”
\nsaid Prince.<\/p>\n

Beard Integrated has been in business
\nsince 1928. Prince said the philosophy of
\ntheir company is based on their corporate
\nphilosophy of “developing a customer for
\nlife.” This philosophy has allowed Beard
\nto maintain a long list of repeat customers,
\namong those is Texas Instruments.<\/p>\n

Beard was one of the first contractors to
\ndo work with Texas Instruments in the 1950s
\nand has maintained that relationship to the
\npresent day.<\/p>\n

Specifically, Beard will work with
\nGlobalFoundries on projects that include
\nFab 8.1 expansion projects, bulk specialty
\ngases project, process lateral systems project,
\nas well as the Fab 8.1 UPW, ultrapure water
\nproject, and many smaller projects.<\/p>\n

Beard has also completed a large number
\nof projects in other sectors such as healthcare,
\ntransportation, hospitality, educational,
\nindustrial, as well as bio-pharmaceutical.
\nBeard has several locations across the U.S.,
\nincluding offices in Tennessee, New Mexico,
\nOklahoma City and Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

“Beard is dedicated to establishing itself as
\na preferred process piping, mechanical, and
\nplumbing contractor in not only the Tech
\nValley\/Capital Region area, but within the
\nEmpire State itself. Beard is looking forward
\nto continuing its growth in New York as the
\nstate continues to build its future as well,”
