\nMuseum are announced plans for the 13th annual
\n“The Way We Were” car show from 9 a.m;. to 4 p.m.
\non Sunday, Oct. 11, on Front Street in Ballston Spa.
\nThe rain date will be Oct. 18.<\/p>\n
“We are very excited for another year of ‘The
\nWay We Were’ car show in Ballston Spa,” said
\nDan Barner of the BSBPA, who serves on the car
\nshow’s leadership team. “We are also very excited
\nto partner with the Saratoga Automobile Museum
\nthis year to make the show even greater. We invite
\nthe public to come stroll our historic village, check
\nout the hundreds of cars and trucks on display,
\nand enjoy the music, vendors and downtown
\nbusinesses. It’s a great day for the whole family.”<\/p>\n
Front Street will be blocked off from Milton
\nAvenue past the Old Iron Springs to accommodate
\ncar exhibits and vendors. A new addition to the
\nshow this year is the “Kids Zone,” located by the
\nOld Iron Springs, which will feature several free
\nchildren’s activities.<\/p>\n
The car show is a judged show and several
\ntrophies will be awarded, including Best of Show,
\nMayor’s Choice, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Stock,
\nOldest Vehicle. There will be awards for the top
\nthree in each of 13 categories. Judging begins at
\n9 a.m., with trophies awarded at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
The event is free to spectators. Exhibitors can
\npre-register by Oct. 1 for $10 per car or $15 the
\nday of show. Dash plaques will be given to the first
\n400 cars registered and the first 200 registered
\nwill receive car show souvenirs.<\/p>\n
All proceeds will benefit BSBPA community
\nactivities and the Saratoga Automobile Museum.<\/p>\n
