People roam downtown Saratoga Springs, tasting food samples from several restaurants, at last year’s Saratoga International Flavorfeast. This year’s event is Oct. 10\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Saratoga International Flavorfeast will be held
\non Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the
\nstreets of downtown Saratoga Springs.
\nParticipants will be able to visit various restaurants
\nand taste a variety of food styles during
\nthe event, for $1 per sampling.<\/p>\n

“The Saratoga Region bursts with a rich,
\ndiverse blend and variety of restaurants and
\neateries,” said Fran Dingeman, owner of Network
\nSaratoga. “The Saratoga International Flavorfeast
\nwas created in celebration of the international
\nfood styles that make the Saratoga area such a
\nunique culinary experience.”<\/p>\n

Beginning at 11 a.m., people can pick up
\na Flavorfeast “passport map” of participating
\nrestaurants\/businesses in front of Fingerpaint
\nMarketing on the corner of Broadway and Division
\nStreet.<\/p>\n

The map will help people plan a day’s itinerary
\nof travel to the following destinations for food
\nsamples from countries all around the world:
\nAlaturco Mediterranean Grill, Boca Bistro, Bon
\nBon Brazil, Capriccio Saratoga, Druthers Brewing
\nCo., Esperanto, Four Seasons Natural Foods,
\nGaffney’s Restaurant, Halfmoon Cellars, Harvey’s
\nRestaurant & Bar, Henry Street Taproom,
\nMaestro’s at the Van Dam, Mango Tree Imports,
\nMexican Connection, Mingle Saratoga, One
\nCaroline Street Bistro, Park Side Eatery, Parting
\nGlass Pub, Peabody’s, Phila Fusion Noodle Bar,
\nPrestwick Chase at Saratoga, Prime at Saratoga National, Ravenous, Saratoga 5 Points Market &
\nDeli, Saratoga Tea & Honey Company, Sushi Thai
\nGarden, The Ice House, The Merry Monk, The
\nSavory Pantry\/Hungry Spot, Three Vines Bistro
\n& Bar, and Wheatfields Restaurant & Bar.<\/p>\n

“By offering $1 samples and free admission,
\nthe International Flavorfeast will allow attendees
\nthe opportunity to enrich their palates and
\ntaste foods they haven’t tried in the past,” said
\nAshley Dingeman, owner and writer of saratogafoodfanatic.com. “This will also allow chefs to
\nshowcase their talents, providing a food sample
\nthat’s specific to the ethnicity they have chosen
\nto represent.”<\/p>\n

In addition to food samples at various restaurants
\non Broadway, Lake Avenue, Henry Street,
\nPhila Street, and Caroline Street, there will be
\nrestaurants from outside the center of town set up
\nin the Fingerpaint parking lot on Division Street.<\/p>\n

The event will include cultural entertainment and
\ntrolley tours throughout the streets of the city.<\/p>\n

The Saratoga International Flavorfeast is
