A studio offering an “all-organic massage”
\nand skin care treatments is providing service
\nin Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n

Daniel Wahl is the owner of Centered Massage
\n& Wellness, 75 Woodlawn Ave. in Saratoga
\nSprings. Tara Allen, a certified aesthetician, is
\nalso part of the practice.<\/p>\n

“Tara and I have known each other for 15
\nyears, since we were both working at Lincoln
\nBaths. We kept in touch over the years even as
\nwe moved to different states. This opportunity
\ncame up while I was working in the Hot Yoga
\nstudio in Saratoga, and I jumped on it,” said
\nWahl.<\/p>\n

Wahl trained at the Swedish Institute of
\nManhattan, and recently received advanced
\ncertified personal training certification.<\/p>\n

“We are about healing facilitators. They will
\ncome to us with pain. We trigger the healing
\nmechanism in their body to get blood and
\noxygen to their muscles. This creates a natural
\nhealing within themselves. We’re about healing
\nthe person inside and out,” said Wahl.<\/p>\n

“Our combined experience sets us apart in
\nthe industry. I have more Eastern training than
\nmost people in the area. Tara is trained as a
\nmassage therapist as well as being an aesthetician.
\nShe does the head, feet and hands. She’s
\namazing,” said Wahl.<\/p>\n

The facility uses the product line Raw, Live
\n& Organic from the Body Deli in California.<\/p>\n

“We are a results-oriented studio. Instead
\nof just, say, giving a massage, we want to find
\nout about a person’s illness through nutrition,
\nexercise and stress. We come at it from all
\nangles,” said Wahl.<\/p>\n

The facility has a registered dietician on
\nstaff. Nutritional counseling with a focus on
\ngluten-free living is offered. Four treatment
\nrooms are available.<\/p>\n

“This is a place people can come and know
\nthey can get the best treatment available. I
\nhave great relationships with chiropractors,
\nacupuncturists and physical therapists in the
\nSaratoga area. I see myself as a first line of
\ndefense, where a person in pain can come for
\ntreatment,” said Wahl.<\/p>\n

“We are proud that our practice is built on a
\nfoundation of hard work as massage therapists.
\nComing full circle and being able to help the
\ncommunity on a bigger scale has been very
\nrewarding,” said Wahl.<\/p>\n

“I have clients I have been working with for
\nover thirteen years. I look forward to expanding
\nand trusting other people, and stepping into
\nthe next stage of my life as a business owner,”
\nsaid Wahl.<\/p>\n
