\nCompanies, Community Care Physicians
\nPC and the Town of Clifton Park broke
\nground in October for the new two-story
\n60,000-square-foot medical arts complex at
\n1783 Route 9, Clifton Park.<\/p>\n
The new $15 million facility, to be built by
\nBBL Medical Facilities, will consolidate several
\nCCP offices to better serve the community by
\nstreamlining operations at a central location.<\/p>\n
Officials said Community Care’s on-site
\nspecialties will include Primary Care (family
\nmedicine, internal medicine, pediatrics), Ob\/
\nGyn, urgent care, medical imaging, physical
\ntherapy, urology, lab and an on-site workout
\nroom.<\/p>\n
About 80 employees will be based at the
\nnew facility, including 25 providers, officials
\nsaid. Community Care is leasing almost 44,000
\nsquare feet of the building. Also in the facility
\nare Albany Medical Center and Brass Eye
\nCenter.<\/p>\n
\n"CCP has been able to create another centralized
\nlocation that serves as a one-stop shop for
\npatients, for an improved patient experience,"
\nsaid Richard Scanu, chief operating officer\/
\nchief financial officer for Community Care
\nPhysicians. "Our physicians can work better
\ntogether; patients can access important integrated
\nmedical services; and the location is
\nwithin easy reach of our current patients and
\nof those who will join the Community Care
\nfamily as we grow."<\/p>\n
Community Care's model is to create convenient
\naccess to multiple specialties in one location,
\nsaid Scanu. The Community Care practices
\nall share a centralized electronic medical record
\nmaking care as seamless as possible for labs,
\nimaging, and internal referrals. Patients can
\nalso connect with the physicians electronically
\nusing an online, secure patient portal.<\/p>\n
Columbia and BBL most recently built a
\nsimilar medical office building for Community
\nCare at the Rensselaer Technology Park in
\nNorth Greenbush. CCP has other consolidated
\nlocations in Delmar, Latham, and Niskayuna.<\/p>\n

\nto this project speaks to the need for this
\nfacility here in this community. Patients will
\nfind outstanding care here, in a new, modern,

The following practices will relocate from
\nnearby locations in Clifton Park to the new
\nconsolidated building: Clifton Park Family
\nMedicine, Clifton Park Pediatrics, Community
\nCare Family Medicine, Community Care Internal
\nMedicine – Clifton Park, the Office of Dr.
\nKathleen Downey, Capital Region Women's Care
\n(formerly OB\/GYN Health Center Associates),
\nUrological Institute of Northeastern New York,
\nCommunity Care Physical Therapy, ImageCare
\nMedical Imaging, LabCare. The building is
